NEW YORK (USA): Race Results Weekly, the wire service of distance running, announced that Ethiopian Kenenisa Bekele and Kenyan Linet Masai had been selected the Race Results Weekly 2009 Runners of the Year. They were selected for their dramatic victories at the IAAF World Championships and consistency throughout their respective seasons.
